Slower song that starts with a slow harmonica intro?
I remembered a song that I think starts with a slow harmonica intro though, it could be another instrument. The intro starts with 3 notes ascending in pitch, repeated twice.... I don't remember anything else about the song.... I'm pretty sure its played on the radio sometimes.

I would like to get him an intermediate one rather than a beginner one. He has never played a harmonica before but he is somewhat musically talented. It would be one that he might use in Jazz Band in H.S. With his love of music I know he would learn it fast. He is a decent piano , oboe, alto saxophone and marimba player. There are 4 different types of harmonica's and that is my trouble. I do not know which type to get him for his Birthday.

At the pub quiz they played a song and i cant remember what it was called. had a slow intro with what sounded like a harmonica. Really eerie and ambient and it reminded me of a ghost town. How to control the bend in Harmonica?
I am practicing note bending for a few weeks..like others 2 draw isnt a problem for me.Though I can bend easily I am facing problem in controlling the number of steps we bend.to see the extent of bend I am using " BENDOMETER" as I havnt developed ears to distinguish the difference of 1 2 step. Is it right way to practice?Or should I follow some other way?Please suggest me some tips how to control the extent of bend in harmonicaTHANK YOU IN ADVANCE
