I was wondering why most people I saw on YouTube play Blues Harps instead of octave harmonicas. I was thinking perhaps...tremolo harp was long forgotten? Thanks
Is 16 holes harmonica standard for beginner?
i'm a beginner in harmonica, i have a16 hole harmonica. is it suitable for me to start with it? or i should change it to 10 holes?exactly it's 16 Double Hole 32 Tone Harmonica.

I got a harmonica with nothing on it (no notes) how do I fix it. And do I start high to low or low to high?
Like the question above says, I have a blank harmonica. I want to put little stickers with notes on them or something so I can figure out how to play it. This is very annoying to me. And what side do I start with like is high " A" or is low " A" This is probably a stupid question but it is really annoying. Thanks.

How to bend notes on a harmonica?
I can blow and draw single notes and chord type sounds, but i cannot bend. I want to know how to bend though because, if done successfully, it has a beautiful, blues effect when you're playing. I've tried looking up videos and googling it but there wasn't much information. I've heard about the weee oooh thing but it's just not that helpful. am i doing something wrong? is there a secret to making a perfect bend? please explain...thanks for reading and hopefully answering sayonara, my lovespeace, love, rock n roll
Is learning the harmonica hard?
I was thinking about picking it up as a hobby. I want more serious type of songs tho, not those up beat ones, when I think harmonica I think the blues and sadness. Anyway any suggestions on what kind to buy, how much, and what type of self teaching book I should get?
Confused about a harmonica purchase...?
So this year for my birthday i asked my parents for a harmonica.. I asked for one in the key of A because it's the key I most commonly play in when playing guitar. My mom went to guitar center for the buy, and brought back a really nice Lee Oskar Major Diatonic Harmonica.. On the outside of the box it has a sticker labeled A.. but on the inside the harmonica reads 1st D, Second A... and it seems to be in the key of D when i blow out and A when i suck in... Im just confused because it doesn't work well with my guitar in A, and i was wondering if this was a mistake in the packaging, or just my lack of knowledge on harmonicas.. any answers will help
Which harmonica to buy?
I'm just about ready to get my second harmonica and I'm indecisive as to which to get, every time I look into harps I find another that I like. I'd quite like something with a wider hole spacing if possible that's good for bending. So far the two stand out harp's have been the Hohner Special 20 for bending and the Seydel Session steel for the apparently wider hole spacing, and the looks . Has anyone had any experience of either that could be useful?Thanks.

Where do i put my capo on for the key of g? i read that it was fret 4 but it doesn't sound right and i've tuned my guitar fine..
Why are harmonicas set to a particular key?
